Nel testo si richiama in estrema sintesi l'origine e la storia dell'azienda e si introduce la presentazione del film "Fantasmi a Ferrania", in anteprima a Cairo Montenotte, al Cinema Teatro "Osvaldo Chebello" il 18 giugno alle 20:30, del regista Diego Scarponi, prodotto da Kiné Società Cooperativa di Bologna, già al fianco del Ferrania Film Museum in vari progetti. Nelle note di introduzione al film si legge: "Fantasmi a Ferrania racconta la storia della Ferrania, la fabbrica delle pellicole impiantata in un piccolo borgo dell’entroterra ligure, che ha compiuto cento anni. È al tempo stesso la storia di un enorme stabilimento, di una società, di un marchio, di un territorio: un’intera vallata coinvolta nella chimica del fotosensibile, generazioni di uomini e donne che, al buio, hanno creato rullini fotografici, pellicole cinematografiche, radiografie, lastre per la stampa."
